We host a number of exclusive events and CPD-accredited training courses for clients and contacts throughout the year. These may be organised in response to new legislative changes, significant issues affecting a particular sector, or in the form of more informal networking or social events. In all cases we ensure they are focused, topical and timely.

Recent examples include a strategic round-table discussion with Vice Chancellors of leading universities on the future of higher education, and a Young Entrepreneurs' Cocktail evening.

Online grooming has increased exponentially in recent years and the effects on its victims and wider communities have been devastating. The grooming via gaming servers and subsequent murder of Breck Bednar, the online radicalization of individuals such as Nasser Muthana and the exploitation via social media and subsequent suicide of Amanda Todd are all cases in point.

Training courses for charity trustees 2015/16

This series is jointly run by Farrer & Co, Cazenove Charities and Haysmacintyre, and provides comprehensive training for both new and experienced trustees covering a range of essential topics including: identifying and managing risk in a charity, charity law update and an introduction to charity finance and reporting. The programme enables trustees to pick and choose the courses most pertinent. Many of the courses will also be useful for charity chief executives, finance directors and other members of the senior management team.
