Collaborative law is a relatively recent and alternative method of resolving disputes where parties can meet face-to-face and discuss the issues between them frankly and with the support of their own lawyers.  Both parties and their lawyers attend a series of meetings and commit to working together co-operatively to reach a fair solution without the court’s involvement.

Seven members of our team are trained collaborative lawyers and can conduct your case in this way.  You will have a collaboratively trained Partner as your main contact, always accessible and available to discuss your case and advise on the best course of action.

We also have three trained mediators within the team.  Mediation can help parties to identify and discuss their differences in a neutral environment and ultimately reach agreement without the need for court proceedings. More information on our Mediation offering can be found in our brochure.
