Balliol College, Oxford (BA Economics and Management); BPP Law School, London (Graduate Diploma in Law and Legal Practice Course)

Alice advises clients on a wide range of employment matters, both contentious and non-contentious. She has experience of conducting Employment Tribunal litigation (including a number of high-value claims) from the initial presentation of a claim through to a hearing or settlement.

Alice is experienced in providing day-to-day advisory support to clients, giving prompt advice on issues as they arise. She also assists clients embarking on longer-term projects such as redundancy exercises. Alice regularly advises employers and employees on employment contracts, compromise agreements, policies and procedures and other employment-related documents.

Who we help

Alice is Secretary of the Schools group and advises schools on a number of employment-related issues, including recruitment, policies and procedures, performance and disciplinary issues and dismissals. She also provides advice in connection with pupil issues, such as admissions and disciplinary matters. Alice has spoken at a number of conferences, and regularly provides training to schools on a range of subjects including child protection, performance management and disability.

Alice advises banks and asset managers on a wide range of contentious and non-contentious employment matters, including in relation to employment contracts, policies and procedures, disciplinary issues and grievances, large scale projects such as redundancies and reorganisations, and Employment Tribunal claims (from the initial response to a claim through to a full hearing or settlement).  Alice also provides employment and equality-related training to organisations.

Alice also advises individuals working in the finance sector on employment contracts, redundancies, compromise agreements and the full range of Employment Tribunal claims.  Alice has experience of conducting high value and complex claims on behalf of individuals.
