Amy advises both employers and employees on a wide range of contentious and non-contentious employment matters. Amy has experience both presenting and defending Employment Tribunal claims, including providing strategic advice on the conduct of a claim and securing settlement via mediation.

She regularly assists clients with day-to-day employment issues, such as advising on disciplinary and grievance procedures, reviewing policies and assisting with redundancy exercises. Amy also advises individuals and employers on drafting and negotiating compromise agreements and employment contracts.

Amy works with a number of leading independent schools, advising them on a range of employment queries, including tribunal claims, redundancy exercises and managing poor performance.  Amy is experienced at providing training to schools on various topics.  She also advises on pupil-related matters, including parental complaints.

Trained at Farrer & Co; qualified in September 2010. Prior to joining Farrer & Co, Amy worked as a Human Resources Manager for Marks & Spencer.
