Caroline works across the full spectrum of our Private Client practice, often in conjunction with colleagues from across the firm to provide a comprehensive service catering for the business and personal needs of individuals and families all over the world.

Caroline has particular expertise advising the trustees of complex trusts on trust law, as well as wealth structuring and succession planning for global families.

Caroline enjoys working closely with her clients to understand their requirements and applies her technical knowledge to reach practical solutions, working collaboratively with the client and their global team of advisers. Clients appreciate her helpful and efficient approach.

Caroline trained at Farrer & Co and qualified as a solicitor in the Private Client team in 2014.

Trustees

Caroline advises both individual and corporate trustees of UK and offshore trusts and wealth-holding structures on the ongoing management of their assets, including advice on the taxation of trusts, trustee duties, powers and obligations, and succession issues. She has particular expertise in advising trustees of high-value landed estates, as well as multi-generational families with inherited property and family businesses. Caroline is a member of the firm's Swiss Initiative. As part of this she organises and speaks at annual seminars in Geneva and Zurich for trustees, lawyers, bankers and other professionals to help deliver practical solutions on current UK-Swiss issues and maintain and build relationships in the jurisdiction.
