Admitted a solicitor in 1968. Partner at Stephenson Harwood (1971-1992); Director of Christie's Heritage and Taxation Advisory Service (1992 to 2006) Vice Chairman of Christie's (1999 to 2006) and joined Farrer & Co as a consultant in 2006.
