She also has considerable experience in advising on and resolving difficult disputes over contact or living arrangements for the children of the family, including applications by grandparents, contested international relocation and education cases and situations where one party has addiction or mental health problems.

Eliza is regularly invited to speak at international conferences and has presented in London, Oxford, Switzerland, Budapest, Malta and the US on topical family law issues such as prenuptial agreements, "Trusts and divorce", grandparents' rights and international custody issues. She also has a number of published articles in specialist journals on these and other topics.

Eliza regularly advises head teachers and bursars of schools on family law issues, where the school is impacted by parental disputes regarding pupils at the school. Eliza has spoken at seminars for heads of schools and written articles for educational briefings.

Eliza is Co-Chair of the Family Law Committee of the International arm of the American Bar Association (ABA SIL). ABA SIL is the preeminent U.S.-based international legal organization.

Recent and forthcoming speaking engagements include speaking on prenuptial agreements for the University of St Gallen, on International Children Law for Lexis Nexis, on "Finding Overseas Assets on Divorce" for the ABA, on cross-border jurisdiction battles for AIJA and on the Same Sex International Family for the ABA.

She is ranked by Citywealth in their Leading Family & Matrimonial Lawyers, Prominent Figures, and Power Women categories. Eliza was recognised as a "Rising Star" by Spears Wealth, July 2012, and is recommended in both the 2014 and 2015 editions of Legal 500.
