Simon advises lenders and borrowers on a range of finance transactions (syndicated and bilateral, multi-tranche and layered acquisition, trade, development, and property finance).
Insolvency: Simon also acts for clients (debtors, creditors, boards of directors and appointment takers) in formal and informal insolvency work, advising on a broad range of insolvency matters involving corporate bodies, partnerships and individuals.
Simon regularly advises private and commercial banks lending both onshore and offshore often taking security over a range of assets (e.g. real property, quoted and unquoted investments, partnerships, carried interests, art and other chattels). He is equally at home providing bespoke solutions to complex transactions or preparing standard form documentation. Simon regularly advises the firm's non-bank clients, acting on their borrowing requirements for all types of borrowers: companies; limited partnerships; LLPs; charities; trusts and individuals.
