Farrer & Co boosts international private client offering with senior counsel hire

Leading independent law firm Farrer & Co has today announced that Abigail Nott, a specialist in tax, trust and estate planning for UK and international individuals, has joined the firm’s Private Client team as a Senior Counsel. Abigail joins Farrer & Co from McDermott Will & Emery.

Abigail advises international individuals, families, and family offices and trustees across a range of international and domestic private client matters, with an emphasis on integrated international tax planning and structuring. At Farrer & Co, she will further strengthen the team’s comprehensive offering, helping clients with their complex and multi-faceted international and domestic needs.

Abigail joins the firm alongside Private Client Associate Jonathon Goldstone from McDermott Will & Emery, who will be joining the firm on 21 October. He advises clients with their estate planning, international trust structures, and UK tax residence and domicile, covering in particular US and UK issues and planning for non-domiciliaries.
