Anna is the Director of Knowledge, Learning and Development at Farrer & Co, responsible for managing the KL&D team at Farrers and for delivering a KL&D strategy which underpins the success of the Firm.

Her team’s remit includes all aspects of learning and development, knowledge management systems, library, research and information services.  Working in conjunction with an army of Knowledge Lawyers and Knowledge Reps, the team is committed to promoting a culture of continuous learning where knowledge collection and sharing are championed.  People are very much at the heart of Farrers and the KL&D mission is to ensure that all who work here are supported to achieve their full potential.


Anna practiced as a lawyer at Farrers for 16 years, having trained at the Firm and qualified in 1999.  After a year in the Disputes team she moved to Employment, where she managed the practice area for 7 years and spent nearly 11 years as a partner.  Specialising in acting for clients in the education and professional practices sector, Anna has regularly featured in both Chambers and Legal 500 and is an experienced trainer, having delivered a sizeable number of internal and client-facing seminars and training programmes over the years.
