She is recognised as a leading expert in advising on and resolving difficult disputes over contact or living arrangements for children, including applications by grandparents, contested international relocation and education cases and situations where one parent has addiction/ mental health problems or where there is domestic violence within the family.

Eliza is regularly invited to speak at international conferences and has presented in London, Oxford, Switzerland, Budapest, Malta and the US on topical family law issues such as prenuptial agreements, "Trusts and divorce", grandparents' rights and international custody issues. Eliza is Co-Chair of the Family Law Committee of the International arm of the American Bar Association (ABA SIL). ABA SIL is the preeminent U.S.-based international legal organization.  She is also an active member of AIJA (Association Internationale des Jeunes Avocats).

Eliza is a regular speaker on the International conference circuit, having presented in London, Zurich, Budapest, Malta, Cannes, New York, Seattle, Chicago and Washington DC on topical family law issues.

Recent and forthcoming speaking engagements include International prenuptial agreements for the University of St Gallen, on International Children Law for Lexis Nexis, on "Finding Overseas Assets on Divorce" for the ABA, on cross-border jurisdiction battles for AIJA, on the Same Sex International Family and on Trusts and Divorce.

She is listed as a leading individual in Chambers & Partners 2017.  She is ranked by Citywealth in their Leading Family & Matrimonial Lawyers, Prominent Figures, and Power Women categories. Eliza was recognised as a "Rising Star" by Spears Wealth in  July 2012, and is recommended in Legal 500.
