"One of the very best lawyers in London for cases with an international dimension"
"A phenomenal operator and a dedicated lawyer."
Personal and family law cases are so often associated with extremely sensitive and emotional times, you can be reassured that Simon will work closely with you and your advisers, to reach an agreement in the best way.
He is fiercely protective of each of his client’s unique interests. This is reflected in his responsive, loyal and caring approach, his up-to-the-minute knowledge of changing law and trends. Much of his work has an international dimension.
Simon is trained as a mediator, and practises as a collaborative lawyer on international cases. His particular expertise is in advising UK and international individuals, families, trustees, beneficiaries and family offices. His cases often involve complex children, and confidentiality and pre-marital agreements, trusts and tax.
Simon’s track record for obtaining the best possible outcome for his clients has seen him involved in four family law cases that have reached the Supreme Court. This includes the recent landmark children and abduction cases Re A (Children) (AP), Re B (A child) and Radmacher, where he represented Mrs Radmacher at the judgment. The cases were complex and ground-breaking. Katrin Radmacher's case was particularly significant in establishing the importance of pre-marital and post-marital contracts in family cases.
