Ben is an Associate in the Charity & Community team. He is involved in advising charities and other not-for-profits on governance and strategic matters as well as helping clients to set up and register charities.
Ben’s recent work has included assisting corporate and family foundations, cultural organisations, grant-making bodies and other non-profit organisations with charity establishment and registration. He helps charities review and improve their governance practices, and assists with advising on constitutional and strategic matters.
Prior to joining the firm, Ben participated on the Japanese Education and Teaching Programme for two years and obtained funding to study and volunteer for a civil rights organisation in Bolivia. He has interned with the Human Dignity Trust, worked as researcher to a former Attorney General and member of the House of Lords, and as senior caseworker to a former minister and prominent backbench Member of Parliament.
