Helen acts for clients in relation to domestic and international succession, trust and private wealth disputes.
Clients come to Helen for advice regarding succession disputes including claims under the Inheritance (Provision for Family and Dependants) Act 1975, proprietary estoppel and constructive trust claims, and challenges to the validity of wills on grounds including capacity, undue influence or forgery.
She also advises trustees and beneficiaries regarding challenges to trusts, for example on insolvency or divorce, the removal of trustees and applications under the Variation of Trusts Act 1958.
Helen has a background in private client work and advises clients who require assistance with the progression of estates when issues arise between beneficiaries and executors. She also advises on professional negligence claims arising out of trust, tax and probate matters.
