Kelly is qualified as a solicitor in England and Wales and in Australia and advises clients on private family law matters, both contentious and non contentious.
Kelly is an associate in the Farrer & Co Family Team.
She advises on many areas of family law including divorce, financial settlements, and the arrangements for children following the breakdown of a relationship. Kelly also advises on prenuptial agreements, as well as on civil partnerships and cohabitation. Many of her cases involve resolving complex financial disputes and children matters.
Kelly's cases often have an international dimension, involving assets, trusts or pensions located overseas. She enjoys working with international families and has a strong interest in leave to remove cases where one parent wishes to relocate with the children internationally. Having lived in four countries, Kelly enjoys this type of work.
Kelly also has experience of children's matters where there are very serious allegations of harm, substance abuse or addiction.
Prior to relocating to England, Kelly worked as a legal associate in both the Family Court and Court of Appeal in Australia. Through this she gained knowledge and insight into how courts operate and how judges approach cases and apply the law.
Kelly is a member of Resolution, an organisation of family lawyers and other professionals who adopt a constructive, non-confrontational approach to family law matters. Kelly is also a member of the Anglo-Australian Lawyers Society.
