Nicholas’s expertise combines the connected areas of complex divorce cases and pre and post-nuptial agreements.

He specialises in particular in advising on complex divorce disputes, involving companies, trusts and jurisdiction issues (including in particular the relationship of the Brussels II and Maintenance Regulations to English law). Recognised as a leading lawyer in this field, Nicholas won the prestigious International Academy of Matrimonial Lawyers’ Annual Award for Young Family Lawyers in Europe.

A leading expert in the drafting and negotiation of prenuptial agreements, Nicholas acts for business leaders, celebrities, landed families and wealthy international couples in London and overseas.

He lectures on the law and practice of prenuptial agreements at Oxford University.
