Sarah-Jane provides pragmatic and commercial advice to employers. She has an in-depth understanding of the client’s perspective having been on secondment to several clients and she works collaboratively with her clients to achieve their commercial objectives.

Individual clients turn to Sarah-Jane for her empathetic approach when dealing with difficult situations at work, as well as for her tenacity in negotiating favourable outcomes, including settlement packages.

Sarah-Jane is a Consultant in the firm’s Employment team. She joined Farrer & Co as an Associate in 2010, having qualified at a top commercial law firm in 2008.

Sarah-Jane advises employers on the full spectrum of contentious and non-contentious employment issues, such as dismissals, including redundancy processes; disciplinary and grievance issues; family-friendly rights; and TUPE transfers. She has extensive experience conducting Employment Tribunal litigation, including dealing with claims for unfair dismissal, constructive dismissal, all types of discrimination, whistleblowing and equal pay.

Sarah-Jane advises individuals on difficult situations at work, including grievances, disciplinary processes, terminations, sexual harassment, and all forms of discrimination.
