Sophie Giblin
Knowledge Lawyer
Sophie is the knowledge lawyer for the firm’s Corporate practice providing technical legal support and training to the team.
Sophie leads the training and knowledge management for the Corporate team. She supports the Corporate team keeping them up to speed with the latest developments in both law and practice and providing the team with the resources required to undertake client work efficiently and accurately. She trains the lawyers in new law and practice, develops and manages the team’s precedent documents and know-how database, answers legal queries and assists with knowledge sharing and resources across the firm’s practice groups.
Sophie has experience working on a broad range of corporate matters including mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, equity capital markets and shareholder arrangements. Sophie has advised a range of clients including both public and private companies and individuals.
Sophie trained and worked as a Corporate Associate at an international firm and has also practised at a bespoke technology, media and entertainment firm in London. Immediately prior to joining Farrer & Co. she spent four years as a Corporate Professional Support Lawyer at a large international firm in London.
