Farrer & Co announced as STEP Philanthropy Team of the Year finalist

We are delighted to learn that STEP has announced that Farrer & Co are a finalist in this year's Philanthropy Team of the Year award.

The award is part of STEP's prestigious annual Private Client Awards, which recognise excellence among private client professionals worldwide. In 2017-18, Farrers won the International Legal Team of the Year award.

Speaking about the nomination, Partner James Maloney said:

"Farrer & Co is one of relatively few firms with the knowledge and experience needed to support clients with their philanthropic giving. We combine our expertise on charity law, governance and tax with an appreciation of a client's wider personal and family arrangements, to provide bespoke advice reflecting their own philanthropic strategy. As a lawyer it's immensely rewarding work, and so a real honour to be recognised for it by STEP."

The winner will be announced at an awards ceremony on 6 November 2018.
