How do we get more women on sports boards?

Insight

Our Sports Practice is passionate about helping to improve the culture and diversity of sports boards.

As a leading sports law practice we wanted to share the first of our discussion papers on Women in Sport which follows our highly informed roundtable on 26 June. We brought together leading advocates from across sport who generously shared their considered and experience-led perspectives, to discuss ‘How do we get more women on sports boards?’

Our paper captures the key themes and commentary from the evening.

The paper builds on the insights we heard at our Women in Sports panel event earlier this year, around the unique challenges facing women looking to take up positions on sports boards of governing bodies and clubs.
