Iman is an employment lawyer advising both employers and employees in contentious and non-contentious employment matters. She assists clients in the education, sports and not-for-profit sectors, as well as businesses and senior individuals.
Iman specialises in all aspects of employment law. As part of her advisory practice, Iman supports clients with day-to-day employment issues such as disciplinary and grievance matters, performance management, workplace investigations, employment contracts, and policy and handbook reviews. She often advises individuals in relation to the terms of their settlement agreements.
On the contentious side, Iman has experience in representing clients in complex matters, including disputes on discrimination, unfair dismissal, whistleblowing detriment and restrictive covenants. She has worked on matters before the Employment Tribunal, the First-tier Tribunal and the High Court. She has also acted for individuals involved in public inquiries.
Iman regularly writes for the firm’s WorkLife employment blog. She volunteers as a pro bono legal adviser at the Mary Ward Legal Centre and for Maternity Action and she mentors young people through the Social Mobility Foundation.
