James has experience in a broad range of commercial property matters including investment sales and acquisitions, landlord and tenant matters, ongoing asset management and real estate finance. James acts for a diverse range of clients including high-net-worth individuals, charities and livery companies through to large corporates, banks and property funds across a number of real estate asset classes.
James takes a proactive and solutions-based approach to his practise in order to deliver timely client outcomes, and he enjoys working closely with clients and colleagues across the firm from matter inception through to completion. Clients appreciate James’ personable manner, responsiveness and ability to blend technical legal knowledge with commercial and practical advice.
Before joining Farrer & Co in 2022, James worked at an international law firm where he focused on all aspects of landlord and tenant work, portfolio management and sales and acquisitions.
James qualified as a solicitor in 2019.
