Kathryn advises clients across the spectrum of advisory, contentious and non-contentious employment matters.

Kathryn has experience of working with a diverse range of clients, acting for both employers and individuals across sectors including education, culture and sport, charities, regulated financial services and publicly listed companies.

From an advisory perspective, Kathryn often advises businesses on employment matters such as disciplinary and grievance procedures, whistleblowing, collective redundancy processes and the application of TUPE. Kathryn is also well versed in providing corporate support on employment issues in a transactional context.

Kathryn's practice includes advising senior executives throughout their employment, up to and including their departure. She frequently negotiates service contracts, settlement and exit terms. She also advises employers on the same issues, and draws on her understanding of both perspectives to bring an empathetic, balanced approach.

In addition to her employment work, Kathryn advises schools and charities on various safeguarding and child protection issues.

Kathryn trained at a multinational law firm in London where she qualified into the Pensions, Employment and Incentives team in March 2023. She brings this multi-specialist experience to the Farrer & Co team, which she joined in autumn 2025.
