Leo Salem
Associate
Leo advises clients on intellectual property, commercial and information law matters across advisory, contentious and transactional contexts. His clients span cultural institutions, media and arts organisations, private individuals, charities, educational bodies and businesses.
Alongside strategic transactional IP and contracts work, Leo has a particular interest in supporting clients with the enforcement of their IP rights and in other contentious settings. He regularly advises on complex trade mark tribunal proceedings, copyright infringement queries and brand enforcement issues. He also assists with sensitive Freedom of Information (FOI) and Data Subject Access Requests (DSARs) – acting for both data controllers and individuals.
Leo has a musical background – having previously composed scores for TV, film, opera and dance – and enjoys bringing this experience to his work with creative sector clients.
