Marie has developed extensive corporate experience advising a broad range of private companies both in the United Kingdom and internationally, and has particular experience in Asia, including work in Japan and Hong Kong.
Marie's expertise spans the full spectrum of corporate matters, including mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, investments, corporate governance and general corporate advisory. She acts for an international client base of private companies ranging from family-owned to private equity-backed businesses.
Marie focuses on delivering technically robust advice that is both strategic and commercial. Alongside her transactional work, Marie addresses clients' broader needs on, for example, funding arrangements and corporate governance. Many of her client base face the same need to balance opportunities and risks in fast-evolving markets.
Marie works closely with her clients on the full range of issues affecting their businesses, including reputation management, data issues, the changing regulatory landscape and managing developments or disruption in their sectors. She regularly collaborates with specialist colleagues within the firm to co-ordinate advice for her clients on data protection, financing and reputation management.
With a growing reputation for her expertise, Marie is regularly approached by overseas legal advisers and other professional intermediaries to act for clients based outside the United Kingdom.
Marie qualified as a solicitor in 2007.
Marie is a member of the Association International de Jeunes Avocats (AIJA) and regularly attends AIJA conferences. She is also a member of the City of Westminster and Holborn Law Society.
