Rod shapes the firm’s technology strategy and leads the IT department, delivering change and value through secure, reliable and innovative services that enable the firm to work efficiently and provide exceptional client experiences. A lifelong technologist who began coding in childhood, Rod combines technical curiosity with strategic vision.
With over 25 years in IT – including more than 20 years in legal technology – he brings a deep understanding of how systems and processes can be applied to meet evolving client needs and guides the firm in adapting to an ever‑changing technology landscape.
Working closely with the management board and the firm’s business services directors, his responsibilities include driving transformation and change, managing enterprise platforms, strengthening security and governance and introducing emerging technologies such as AI – all underpinned by a commitment to reliability and client success.
Rod also fosters strategic partnerships with leading technology providers, ensuring the firm benefits from cutting‑edge solutions and innovation opportunities. These collaborations help accelerate adoption of new tools and deliver tangible improvements in efficiency and client service.
