Theo Backhouse
Associate
Theo is an Associate in the Contentious Trusts and Estates team. He acts for a wide range of clients, including private individuals, families, trustees, businesses and not-for-profit organisations. He has a broad experience of litigation, advising both claimants and defendants in relation to complex trust and probate disputes, Court of Protection matters and debt recovery.
Recent cases that Theo has been involved in include claims under the Inheritance (Provision for Family and Dependants) Act 1975, probate claims involving capacity and Court of Protection work for vulnerable individuals and their families.
After completing the GDL and LPC at BPP Law School in London, Theo trained at Farrer & Co and qualified as a solicitor in 2020.
