Serious incident reporting

Insight

The Charity Commission updated its guidance on serious incident reporting on 14 June 2019.

Mercifully the new guidance differs from its predecessor in only one respect -  the Commission have removed the email address previously used for making such reports and replaced it with an on-line form. Of perhaps most note is the fact that the online fields are limited in length, so schools may need to consider being more concise in their submissions to fit within the prescribed format. The updated guidance is to be found here.

If you require further information about anything covered in this briefing, please contact Sam Macdonald, or your usual contact at the firm on +44 (0)20 3375 7000.

This publication is a general summary of the law. It should not replace legal advice tailored to your specific circumstances.
