The future of offices: Kate Moisson, Tesson Consulting

Podcast

future of offices hero

In the first of our three-part podcast series, Mark Gauguier, Head of our Commercial Property team talks to Kate Moisson, Director of Tesson Consulting, a qualified chartered surveyor, member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS) and a RICS Registered Valuer, on her views on the future of offices.

Offices and office spaces have seen a steady change in functionality and design over the last decade, with new entrants to the market offering flexibility, collaborative workspaces and relaxed surroundings. This trend was developed and shaped by the likes of Google and other large corporates and major landowners, typically favouring glass buildings and sustainable modern interiors. The global pandemic has further disrupted the office world in the short-term and, in the medium- to long-term, asked businesses some searching questions the answers to which may challenge the very existence of offices as we know them.

If you have any questions on the podcast or the topic more generally, then please get in touch with Mark Gauguier, or your regular contact at the firm on +44 (0)20 3375 7000. If there are any other topics you would like us to cover in future briefings or podcasts, please let us know.
