Partner
Sarah is a highly experienced commercial property lawyer who advises clients on all aspects of commercial property, including acquisitions, disposals, development, and landlord and tenant management issues. She acts for a range of private, institutional, and commercial clients, with particular experience in advising ultra-high-net-worth individuals, foreign investors, charities, and schools.
Sarah has developed a reputation as an effective development lawyer, working on projects ranging from the redevelopment of a single property to leading clients through the large-scale development of entire areas. She advises both landowners and developers and has extensive experience in leading complex multi-disciplinary projects, with support from colleagues in the Planning, Construction, Environmental and Tax teams at Farrer & Co.
Her varied experience in advising institutional and charity clients, commercial developers, and ultra-high-net-worth individuals gives her a strong understanding of the different drivers facing stakeholders involved in development projects. She works closely with those involved to find creative solutions to the challenges these complex projects often present. Development schemes are often long-term projects spanning many years, and Sarah recognises the importance of building close relationships with those involved and thrives in working as part of a wider team.
Sarah has also built a strong investment practice, acting for ultra-high-net-worth individuals, foreign investors, charities, private companies, and other institutions in all aspects of commercial real estate. As with her development work, Sarah is skilled at building strong relationships with clients and working closely with them to achieve their goals. She is accustomed to working in high-pressure situations and to tight deadlines, taking a commercial and pragmatic approach to all that she does.
Sarah qualified as a solicitor in 2005.
