Our Responsible Business strategy goes beyond words - it's about embedding our values and purpose into tangible actions that resonate throughout the firm. Through partnerships like our collaboration with Neighbourly and many other community initiatives, we make it easy for anyone at Farrer & Co to contribute to causes that matter. Whether it’s supporting local communities or driving sustainability efforts, our commitment to responsible business is something every individual at Farrer & Co can be part of.

This commitment isn’t just about the initiatives we undertake – it’s a deeply embedded part of our culture, shaped over decades of purposeful action. For example, the Farrer & Co Charitable Trust was established (by the partners) over 40 years ago to support charities that alleviate rough sleeping in Lincoln’s Inn Fields. Since then, the Trust has broadened its impact, such as increasing access to justice and making donations to charitable work undertaken by members of the firm.

From bake offs and jumper days to London walks and reading with school children, there are a plethora of ways to get involved with community impact at Farrers. At its core, Farrers is committed not only to giving back to the wider community, but also to providing each of our colleagues with the opportunity to be a part of this.

At Farrer & Co, responsible business is more than just a strategy — it’s a shared commitment that every individual can be part of, ensuring our firm continues to make a real, lasting difference.

It really is hugely encouraging for the team to know that you have chosen to continue to support us over such a long period of time and that enthusiasm amongst your colleagues continues to grow. "

Neighbourly

Neighbourly

Neighbourly is an award-winning volunteering platform that provides all Farrers employees with the opportunity to give their time to a wide variety of important and inspiring causes. Be it litter picking, or waitressing at a charity event, everyone at the firm have the chance to step out of their role for a day and give back to the community.

"Suited and Booted" and "Dress for Success"

We have worked with "Suited and Booted" and "Dress for Success", charities providing those with a low-income with professional clothing to enable them to find employment.

Christmas at St Mungo’s

Farrers particularly enjoys coming together during the festive period to prepare Christmas hampers for St Mungo’s, an organisation that helps people who are homeless or at risk of homelessness. This, as well as decorating the shelter with Christmas decorations, is a much-valued tradition at Farrers.
