Navigating the Employment Rights Act 2025: a three-part webinar series

News

Abstract of people

Farrer & Co is pleased to host a three-part webinar series which will explore the key reforms coming into effect under the Employment Rights Act 2025 (ERA 2025) and what they mean in practice for employers.

Given the breadth and scale of the Act, this series is designed to give employers and HR professionals practical insights into the changes most likely to affect organisations, how to prepare for them and manage the impact.

Each session will take place across three consecutive Thursdays in June:

Unfair dismissal reform

A focused look at the ERA 2025 changes to unfair dismissal, including the reduction in qualifying period and removal of the cap on compensation. We explore what these reforms mean in practice and how employers should adapt their processes now to reduce risk.

Industrial relations and contractual change: fire and rehire and trade unions

An update on the strengthening of trade union rights and the new statutory framework governing fire and rehire. We highlight the key risks for employers and practical steps for managing changes lawfully and effectively.

What else lies ahead: harassment reform, zero-hours arrangements and other key changes

A round‑up of other significant ERA 2025 reforms, including enhanced duties around harassment and new protections for zero‑hours workers. We focus on what employers need to know and do to prepare ahead of implementation.
