Megan is a property litigator acting for a wide range of organisations and private clients in connection with residential and commercial contentious property work.
Megan has conducted litigation in the County Court, High Court and First-Tier Tribunal. While proceedings are sometimes unavoidable, she is well-versed in alternative dispute resolution and has extensive experience in mediation.
Megan has experience acting for both landlords and tenants in a commercial and residential context. Her practice includes service charge disputes, breaches of lease, forfeiture, dilapidations and possession claims. Her wider property practice includes property ownership disputes, boundary disputes and disputes relating to real property, such as breaches of or interference with covenants and easements.
Megan works closely with her clients to achieve their objectives and is aware of the need to resolve matters in a commercial and cost-effective way. If settlement cannot be reached, she works closely with her clients to guide them through the litigation process.
