Sam is an Associate in the Intellectual Property and Commercial Team, providing practical and focused advice on a range of commercial, IP and data protection issues.
Sam advises on matters relating to the management, protection, transfer and commercialisation of IP rights and has advised on both contentious and non-contentious IP and information law issues. He assists with drafting and advising on a wide range of commercial contracts and data protection issues.
Sam trained at Farrer & Co after a career outside law and brings his prior experience and perspective to bear in his advice to clients. He worked in Westminster as a policy adviser (gaining experience of culture, media, education and health policy) and as Research Director at a think tank.
Sam has been a school governor of an academy in west London and is involved in a number of CR and pro bono initiatives across the firm, including the Into University mentoring scheme and the Mary Ward Legal Centre.
