Sophie Fewson

Sophie acts on behalf of the Duchy of Lancaster and the Duchy of Cornwall in the administration of bona vacantia estates and in relation to dissolved company assets.
Sophie advises on a range of private client matters, with a particular focus on probate, succession and the administration of estates. She also advises on wills, tax and estate planning matters and trust administration.
While Sophie’s practice is largely devoted to the administration of estates, her broader expertise includes advising individuals on their Wills, inheritance tax and estate planning, and acting for trustees on all aspects of trust administration.
Sophie joined Farrer & Co in 2012 as a trainee solicitor, qualifying into the firm’s Private Client team in 2014 before moving to the Bona Vacantia team in 2023.
