Farrer & Co is proud to have been 'Commended' in the Pro Bono Team of the Year category at The Lawyer Awards. We were shortlisted for our work with the Young People's Life Café (YPLC).
Merry Gibbons and her team run the YPLC, which helps to support young adults diagnosed with cancer as they navigate end-of-life planning. Our private client lawyers provide pro bono legal advice on wills, intestacy and guardianship letters. We would like to thank to our clients, Merry Gibbons and the incredible YPLC team, and our volunteers: Alicia Tan , Amy McCarthy-Broadfoot , Amy Greenberg , Edward Everett , Eloisa Clegg , Felicity Miles , Jessica Harker , Marcus Maxwell , Miranda Good , Owen O'Rorke , Sarah Grimwood , Stephanie Liddell , Tristan Honeyborne and Leonie Woolf. Huge thanks to our Client Partner Ali Hollingshead (Price) , Project Manager Amy Newhall and Head of Pro Bono, Rhian Lewis .
