As a member of the Employment team at Farrer & Co, Louisa advises clients on contentious and non-contentious employment issues.
Louisa represents employers in the financial services, commercial, sports, and education sectors, advising on a range of employment law matters. She has worked on a number of Employment Tribunal claims, including discrimination and whistleblowing claims.
Louisa also advises individual employees on their employment rights on entry and exit. She frequently drafts and advises on settlement agreements, including those relating to restrictive covenants. She also drafts, negotiates and advises on contractual issues, employee relations and TUPE. In addition, Louisa reviews and advises on employee handbooks and employment policies and procedures.
Louisa also advises schools on parental complaints and child protection issues. She works closely with specialists around the firm when clients have needs that cross into tax, pensions, corporate, regulatory, data protection or charity law. Louisa is a member of the Employment Lawyers Association, has delivered employment related training to clients, and contributes to Farrers employment law blog, WorkLife.
Louisa qualified as a solicitor in 2017.
