Further information on our investigation expertise can be found in our brochure on workplace investigations.

Advising on cultural change

Harassment and bullying at work can take many forms and tackling discrimination is not just about handling allegations. As well as advising on handling harassment, bullying and discrimination concerns, we deliver strategic advice and support in understanding where and how problems have arisen and how to avoid similar risks in the future, including cultural change where required.

We provide clients with training for staff on equality, diversity and inclusion and help them produce and update their policies (including equal opportunities and Bullying and Harassment) and staff handbooks.

We also provide legal advice and support to senior executives involved in making or facing allegations of discrimination, harassment or bullying.  For further information on our services for senior executives, please see our brochure

Recent work highlights:

  • Advising a higher education institution in relation to allegations of bullying behaviour by the CEO. We advised on a subsequent staff listening exercise conducted by an independent trustee, and supported the client with its options, including a potential disciplinary procedure and without prejudice discussions with the CEO with a view to their removal.
