In October last year, the Weinstein scandal broke and the world started talking about sexual harassment. This year, we have begun to see organisations taking the first real steps, not only to deal with allegations of harassment but to try to bring about cultural change to prevent it from happening – for example, Parliament's recent proposals to introduce a Code of Conduct and training for MPs.

None of this is easy though. So to help employers create a safe culture for staff, Maria Strauss and Jane Foster have drawn on our team's safeguarding experience to identify a number of key issues which we see as critical to preventing and detecting workplace sexual harassment.
