Emily specialises in intellectual property and commercial law, and advises clients operating in IP rich sectors, including technology, media and culture.

Emily advises clients with issues relating to the management, protection, transfer and commercialisation of IP rights, including copyright, trade marks and other registered and unregistered rights. She also assists with a wide range of commercial contracts, including technology contracts, collaborations and other contractual matters.
She has spent time on secondment as a legal adviser to Imperial College, the National Gallery and Climate-KIC, advising on a range of IP and commercial matters.

Emily advises museums, galleries and artists on a range of contentious and non-contentious intellectual property matters and commercial contracts. She has experience of drafting complex contracts including collaboration, licencing, consultancy and curator agreements, and assists in the registration, protection and management of IP rights.
