It is with great sadness that the partners of Farrer & Co announce the death of fellow partner and friend Andrew Bailey.
Andrew, who was 59, had been suffering from a long-term illness and died at the weekend with his family around him.
Qualifying in 1989, Andrew joined Farrers in 2010 from Addleshaw Goddard as a commercial property partner with a flair for completing large and complex projects. Soon after, he took the lead in the development of the firm’s commercial property practice.
Andrew was a well-known and well-liked figure in the property world and had a close relationship with colleagues across the firm.
Senior partner Anne-Marie Piper says: “We will all remember Andrew for his bright and mischievous sense of humour, and the amazing positivity and courage which he displayed during his illness. He was a much-loved character and we will miss him greatly."
