Sarah provides specialised marketing support, as well as business development and strategic advice to the Employment team and the Safeguarding Unit. She actively promotes the work of both teams by executing client-focused events, producing on-brand collateral and drafting legal directory submissions.
Sarah enjoys a unique role within the employment team and safeguarding units. Fully integrated into the team of lawyers she supports, Sarah works with the employment team’s Knowledge Lawyer and the firm’s central marketing and business development teams to execute and achieve memorable marketing campaigns and events to further enhance the firm’s reputation of providing high quality legal advice, as well as balancing the traditional image of the firm with legal innovation and excellence.
Sarah is responsible for the quality and output of both teams’ events, ensuring that any conferences and seminars provided are topical, insightful and followed-up appropriately to ensure that the firm’s reputation in thought leadership is maintained and the quality of its advice is known widely.
Sarah also manages the Farrers Safeguarding Community app, an innovative online knowledge sharing and best practice forum for safeguarding practitioners. She organises and executes relevant events and maintains the quality of the firm's brand. With an offshore legal background, Sarah is well placed to introduce potential clients and intermediaries to Farrers.
Sarah helps each individual lawyer she works with to develop personalised business plans and to use social media with confidence to promote their work and achievements. With a background in high net worth family law and public law children work, Sarah also enjoys writing articles and keeping her legal knowledge up-to-date by attending events across the firm.
