Farrer & Co is proud to share that 10 of our solicitors feature on the 2025 Pro Bono Recognition List. The list recognises solicitors and barristers across England and Wales who gave 25 hours or more of their time to pro bono work in 2024.

Set up under the sponsorship of the Attorney General’s Pro Bono Committee, endorsed by the Lady Chief Justice and with the support of the Law Society, Bar Council and all major pro bono legal organisations, the Recognition List celebrates the valuable contribution of individual lawyers at firms and organisations of all sizes who provide pro bono legal help.

The following Farrer & Co solicitors feature on the 2025 Pro Bono Recognition List:

We would also like to thank the following Trainee Solicitors and Paralegals that have completed 25 hours or more of pro bono work during 2024:

Rhian Lewis, Head of Pro Bono and Counsel at Farrer & Co said:

“Our volunteers – lawyers, trainees, paralegals and solicitor apprentices – embody the firm’s commitment to Pro Bono work – whether it's offering rights-based advice to new parents through Maternity Action, helping children apply for British nationality, supporting patients with terminal cancer diagnoses by drafting wills and planning for end-of-life matters, or volunteering at the Mary Ward Legal Centre.”
